In class we made posters to promote lab safety. Our (my partner and I) poster is about exposed skin how you should minimize it by wearing lab equipment, such as lab coates, googles, and closed toed shoes.
The quote I chose was, "If you think education is expensive, try the cost of ignorance" that Neil Tyson referred to in his interview. I chose this quote because I find that it applies to a lot of other lessons in life, such as lessons in trust or with relationships, not just classroom lessons. What this quote means to me is that being educated now rather than later will help you in the long run. This quote makes me realize that I should pay more attention to my teachers so I can learn what they're teaching because if not, it will cost me time, money, and energy to learn the same thing later.
