Since last time we didn't let the egg sit in the vinegar long enough this time we let the eggs sit in the vinegar for about a week and a half. We took them outside and again put the just a foot above the ground and dropped them and they still cracked. Although they still did crack when they hit the pan they were a little squishy and a little more solid which means they at least got cooked a little more.
Looking back: Unfortunately the lab didn't work again even though we left it in longer. At least they cooked a little more.
Looking beyond: A question I had was how long would it take to be able to bounce it and not crack.
Looking inward: We did not get desirable results and I think that's because we didn't let the egg sit in the vinegar long enough so the egg didn't get cooked enough.
Looking outward: I worked with elyse, and I think we worked well together because we both wanted to try again and we didn't give up.
Looking forward: If I could did this again something I would do differently is leave the egg in the vinegar for a longer time.
Takeaways: A takeaway from this lab is to be patient and also things might not go as planned and that's okay.
